Title: DC Load wiring
Post by: Kfit on April 01, 2012, 03:17:52 PM
I need some help with wiring my DC loads... we have the MNE 250 STM-L panel with Magnum inverter, Outback FM 80 controller. Now most everything is labeled inside but I can't see any mention of DC load connections. I know I need some DC breakers (& see where they attach to the DIN rail). We have a fridge/freezer & water pump that operate on 24VDC. I have seen wring diagrams that the DC loads are wired to the controller & others wired to the battery buss bars. Which is correct?

Many thanks,
Kennedy

Your fridge and well pump should each have a breaker that makes a connection to the battery positive bus. The + side of the breakers should be wired to the bus.
