I have a set of batteries to try and save for a client, nominal 24v. My Classic 150 is currently on 48v nominal . When I power down the classic and attach to the 24v bank is there a procedure as with the MX or FM cant remember which where you held some buttons down on power up to force it to refresh.

Hi Nigel....
If the firmware isn't too old, try this...
Turn the power off to the Classic
Turn it on again and then hold down the LEFT and RIGHT arrow keys until either the SOLAR-WIND-HYDRO screen
comes up OR the main status screen comes up.
If the setup (QuickSet) screen comes up, you're there and then just follow through to the next screen where it
will detect the battery voltage.
If you get the main status menu, then it is older. If that's the case, turn the MODE to OFF and then
go to the CHARGE--VOLTS menu where you will find QuickSet on the lower right of the LCD. Press the
SOFT-RIGHT key to get into that screen and pick the proper battery voltage (24V)
On the first method, as long as you start holding down the LEFT and RIGHT arrow keys before the
MidNite graphics logo goes away, it is soon enough, so you will want to try and press and hold
those two buttons down early after power boot up.

Many thanks boB it was the later firmware so very easy as you said. Harvested 7 kw hours of power in to those hungry Rolls today on a 972 wp single axis tracked array, thats very impressive considering it was blue skies with plenty of cloud about. 3 Hours of Equalizing we have the Rolls up to 1.200 on average considering yesterday they didnt even register on the Hydrometer.
