Hi, recently our drop saw has started giving an arc fault on our Classic. I've checked the brushes and they look fine. I have the sensitivity turned to the lowest setting (least sensitive) now but still get an arc fault regularly. Occasionally its use doesnt cause an arc fault. Our bench saw or any other tool doesn't produce an arc fault.
Any ideas?
Thanks
You could turn off arc fault when using your saw .

Yes, could turn off the AF but that is kind of a pain...
What happens if you try anther AC circuit for the saw I wonder ?
By another circuit, I mean the other 120VAC of the 120/240 AC ? L2 instead of L1 ?
Not exactly sure the best way to find that out but maybe you know which circuits are which ?
You might have to use an extension cord. I know, even that is a pain but would be interesting to find out if it helps.
