Again something I do not know the answer to.

Which is better for battery health/life?
1) maintain Float for extended periods of time
or
2) let the battery self discharge to 95%SOC and re-bulk

I would say something in-between the two.

There is usually a Re-Float voltage where the charger turns back on into Float for some amount of time...

This may not even allow the battery to self-discharge much, if at all ?
