Title: 300VDC Classic 200 input breaker
Post by: SolarMusher on July 04, 2012, 05:21:16 PM

Hi Guys,
I'm rewiring my array to 72VDC and need to change my 60A 150VDC input breaker...
Could someone confirm that if I use a MN 300VDC Din Rail Breaker to control a Classic 200 PV input, I have to use the + side to connect to the Classic positive input and neg side to Combiner positive.
Am I right or out of the track? Just to be sure...

The + side always goes towards the side with the greatest potential. In this case it is the PV panels so the PV array comes to the side labeled + and the - side then goes out to the Classic.

Not to confuse it but if this where on the battery side the + would go to the battery and the - would go to the Classics battery + terminal

Thanks Ryan for your reply.
I don't remember right now if I wired it correctly. I'm going to check it once more to be sure.

I had wired it correctly. In doubt, I had wired it the same way I wired the 250V combi box.
Thanks for your help Ryan.
