Title: ? offgrid minigrid ?
Post by: Barry Fields on March 14, 2024, 08:12:57 PM
If a person had a 24 hr source of 120/240v (generator or Hydro) could a person use a grid tie-able inverter to decrease either propane or water consumption with no utility connection?

One problem would be the response time of the sources.

Just laying awake at night.

I find it hard to believe that no one has an opinion on this.

Didn't see this until you bumped it up.

I would imagine that you can "supplement" propane to reduce that energy consumption.

Just depends on how much it takes to do that.  For home heat, that's an easy one.

Other stuff would depend on what that stuff is ?
