Title: My batteries have a gyroscope, why?
Post by: Trukinbear on April 24, 2024, 11:33:30 PM
Just took delivery of my first 2 - 100Ah 51.2v rack mount LiFePo4 batteries from Aolithium. My system is up and running, but Aolithium's manual is quite incomplete. In the battery's menu for example there exists settings for setting the X, and Y axis of the gyroscope, but no mention in the manual. Gyroscope? My batteries have a gyro, why?

some early versions of jakiper had some kind of motion sensor - maybe to deter theft .
Maybe you are thinking of accelerometer like is in a lot of devices these days.
Otherwise no idea - you should contact manufacturer and ask them.

Nothing in any of the manuals, or literature and 'technical support' at Aolithium didn't understand my question - they can tell you how to open the crate however...
