Hi, I have two sets of panels. One facing magnetic north and 1920watts and the other facing true north and 1500watts. The difference is 23deg.
Can I run these to the same controller? I'm using a Midnite Classic and an Epever. I would like to connect both to the Classic which is rated at 90amps. Biggest amps I've seen combined is 63amps.
Thanks
As long as the two parallel strings are within 10% voltage of each other and not over the VOC cold temp limit you should be okay.
Plug the numbers in the Midnite Classic string calculator and see what it says.

Thanks for your reply I'll try this and see what I get. You wouldn't happen to know in the epever how bulk, boost, and float relates to the classics absorb and float? My guess so far is boost is absorb and the classic doesn't have bulk which is maximum charging voltage.
Yeah I don't understand the "new" boost terminology . Bulk I guess would be absorb. I tried looking up boost on internet - confusing for sure !
Seems Epever has boost term, and Schneider has boost though not sure they are the same .
From the little bit I looked , I guess you set bulk and boost for what you would Absorb .
