Can someone please verify what the watts displayed on the classic actually is. I was told two different things, 1. its the watts the classic is using from the array and the other is the total watts being delivered from the array.
Thank you
It is showing how much power the Classic is making . So that could be the sum of charging batteries and loads.
If you have a Whizbang on the system that will show you just how much power in amps is going to the battery( minus the loads) and the SOC of the battery . There is a Whizbang screen on MNGP to show you that or on Local Status the power to battery via whizbang is called System Amps.
If you get Grahams Classic Monitoring app for android from the Playstore , that can do the math and how you the loads power too by subtracting out the system amps.

Watts as shown on the MNGP screen is simply the battery voltage times the output current to the battery and any thing hooked up to the battery.
Watts = V * I
But just the output in this case. The PV input current is not calibrated to be all that accurate.
Some tend to use both of those to calculate efficiency. That doesn't work very well.

Thank you !!!
