Title: CL250 ground fault
Post by: Notes on June 29, 2024, 10:11:37 AM
Good morning, my CL250 had a ground fault the 25th. No one around till I got here Friday. I checked all wiring from panels to batteries, opened all junction boxes. Disconnected wiring and all test ok. Reset CL250 and everything working, batteries charging. Only issue is in status menu it not showing proper panel wattage. Typical sunny day 1200-1300 after fault and reset 320-400. What am I missing?
Thanks Andy

Hmmmm...  Not exactly sure.  But maybe some of your PV current is passing through ground somewhere instead of going completely into the Classic's PV input and that might also be why the GF  tripped ?

Check your wiring to make sure there is no conduction between PV+ and GND first thing.

Lettuce know if you find a trickle of anything wrong !
