well I thinking testing of the inverter is what is really needed tho. Maybe MS missed their usual well proven beta testing roll out of their new products altho this is a rebranded one.

Dapdan,
You are correct that the typical Midnite Beta program was not put in place on this one, 25 ish machines where given away for beta testing before we went into production. This is not a rebranded machine though it is built for Midnite to our design, We use our own breakers and have influenced the hardware as well as the software on this device.

FNG,

I am pleased to hear that it was a full design by midnite engineers as opposed to the the other inverters in the MNDIY series. I had just assumed that it was a similar product strategy as the other smaller inverters in the DIY series. This means that MS has to put more effort communicating this to their market. I think I am pretty savy when comes to midnite products (being a consumer and installer of them) and I did not know it was not a clone. So if I did not know then the regular folks definitely don't know. I wonder how many of the forum regulars are aware of this.

I think this product need a webinar if it wasn't done already. It really has so many features.
