Title: Trying to connect to MyMidnite via wifi bridge and 3 Classics
Post by: ALLTRIBESHOUSE on November 07, 2024, 02:44:37 PM
Hello,

I apologize, I am new to the forum and could not find the best place to ask this question.  I have 3 classics controllers, running with Outback Inverters.  Installed in 2011. All working well so far.  Recently installed the Outback Mate3s - so I can look at the system via the Internet. Unfortunately I cannot check my Solar input via that system.  So now lookiing to use the MyMidnite Site.  I want to know how I can connect all 3 Classics via some kind of Extender or Wifi Bridge to then connect into my MyMidnite site.  I have registered all the Classics, etc now I just need to figure out how to connecct the three.  There is a great video up on how to connect 1 doing that - but how would I do 3 ?

Thank you ahead of time for any insight into any of what I have written above.

Peace,

T

You need to connect each Classic to a router using an Ethernet cable, then go into the NET menu and turn on WEB ACCESS, save and then power each Classic off/on.  The router also needs to be on the Internet...

you could also plug three Classics into router and use either Local Status app to see info on each one. ( windows)
Or you can use Graham's Classic Monitoring android app available on Playstore
There is a way to secure remote into computers without port forwarding that I just started using .  It is called Tailscale .
