Post by: Groton Vermont on November 23, 2024, 04:39:46 PM
Hi,

Anyone know if the AUX functions are programmed get and if so, how the FLOAT function works.

There is

ON V - seems to be 0 to +5V

OFF V

thanks

Jim

You don't also see Delay and Hold on the setup for them  ?
What firmware are you on ?
The voltage would be the plus or minus of the Float setting.
Setting up a small SSR with a load like a light would be the best way to check them out .

Hi Larry,

Yes Delay and Hold are there too but I know what they do.

I'm just confused because if we are at float then the voltage should not go higher. It's at float.
But I suppose it will go lower. So I'd go ON at +0.0V and OFF at -2.0V
I'll try that.
I already have an SSR on the AUX to switch the heater fan.

I'll report back in a few days.

Thanks

Jim

Set Float with ON at 0.0V OFF at -0.4V

Float voltage is 54.5V

Current battery voltage is 53.0V 45% SOC

But the Aux is ON ?

It is set to Auto.

Ideas on whats going on?

I wish I had time now to experiment with this.
There is an Inverted option - what happens if you try that ?

Nothing, none of it works.

I have the control wires already installed on my hawkes bay. If I have time later I will hook something up to them to see what controls the aux have.
