Title: MNE175AL-PLUS options
Post by: Zap on October 13, 2012, 08:28:15 PM
The MNE175AL-PLUS is a very nice panel and have been using one for a while with an Outback FX2524T and Midnight classic 150.

How I'm ready to expand.

looking to mount another MNE175AL-PLUS to a notagutter4 and with two left hand unit mounted on top looks like one would not open like it should, inverter would hit on the other Classic (not good).

In looking at the panel that I'm how using looks like the main box was made (mounting holes, knock out, right hand door slots, ect.) to switch left to right with the components, just needs a right hand door.

Is Midnitesolar making a right hand MNE175AL-PLUS ?

Thanks,
I didn't think so couldn't find any info on a right handed.
Hmm, reverse brake on the hinges is all that would be needed to make it a right handed.
Maybe there's just more to it that I'm not seeing.

I will bug Robin but I know we made some reverse doors just for this reason. We also have a 120/240 bypass assembly upgrade kit for the Epanel so the Not a gutter is not needed for that.

Going to order another MNE175AL-PLUS this coming week, will hold off for a part # on the door.

Just talked to Robin and we do have Left and Right hand doors. The standard is Left hand hing so make sure you specify Right hand for the second unit.
