Title: Rosie Mobile with 48v 100AH DC House Batteries
Post by: Pr4mr22 on May 07, 2025, 05:12:13 PM
Hello,
I'm in the process of ordering a Rosie Mobile for an RV Solar Build and considering batteries.  Other than the lack of communication is there any reason this combination wouldn't work or shouldn't be done?  Anyone on here done this?  Thanks, Pete(a newb to the Midnite family)

Closed loop is certainly not necessary. Many installs both mobile and stationery are done like this no issues at all. When you get going on comisioning let us know if you have any questions

Thanks, that's what I presumed.  Now I just need to decide if the quality meets my comfort standards with the batteries themselves.  I will definitely be in touch soon.
Cheers!

I have a varied assortment of batteries in use with my Rosie M, no issues at all. I used a smart shunt and now lynx shunt to track soc.

Ecoworthy 24V 100Ah x2 in series
Djlb 24V 100Ah x2 in series
Ecoworthy 48V 50Ah pizza box style x2 in parallel

Using mnedc250 breakers on the non rackmpints that don't have breakers.
