Title: Mounting the Rosie flat
Post by: Pr4mr22 on May 26, 2025, 04:56:53 PM
I'm putting the Rosie Mobile in my RV storage bay.  Vertically mounting it will block the entry points for cabling.  Any worries with mounting it flat? Or should I figure out a way to make a bracket and mount it higher?

I haven't looked at that model but if it is designed with fins so the heatsink will let air flow from bottom to top , then that is important.
Probably best to figure out how to mount it higher so it gets the proper air around it .

We have many of them mounted on their back with fins down, As Larry pointed out this does change the airflow slightly but as the Rosie has fans to move air over the heatsink it's not a huge reduction so you should be ok
