I have an AIO that has been up and running for 6 months or so, power available from Grid AC-in, and SmartLoad-2=AC coupled power coming from a Legacy PV system.
My challenge is that I am using SmartLoad-1 (60a) as an EV charger....
and since my utility is a flat-rate with no peak/off-peak, I have Work Mode = sell back priority
and the goal is to maintain batteries at 90% at all times while grid is available.
So far I have been unable to figure out the correct combination of settings for start/stop of battery charging and smart load to accomplish the desired behaviors.
I'd appreciate details from anyone who has input and experience with settings that will result in:
- batteries held at 90%-100% when grid is up
- Smart-load-1 available as long as grid is up, and
available if grid is "down" only while battery >75% SOC
since no Users have answered yet.... How about a little guidance @Logan ? can you explain what settings are required to obtain the desired behavior to maximize sellback from AC-coupled input on SL-2, activate SL-1 as long as batteries are >20%, and hold batteries at 90% when grid AC-in is available.
SmartLoad-1 is still not working as desired.
I have tried all kinds of combinations or settings, and still cannot find a what to energize the SL-1 for EV charging "all the time" when the Grid is up, and limit discharge if Grid is down. I have:
power control> work mode = grid feed in priority
battery> Capacity Mode = SOC%
Charge To (%) = 100%
Discharge End SOC (on-grid) (%) = 90
smart load > SL-1=smart load, stop= 75% , start at 95% ... this *should* re-enable after a grid outage when batteries are recovering and on their way back to full, or re-enable if grid is down during the day and batteries are almost full.
...for some reason, SL-1 does not remain enabled while on grid as it should since SOC remains above 75% when on grid
