Title: MNPV8HV-DLTL 3R With MNHAWKE'S BAY BB120
Post by: holdmode on July 26, 2025, 09:07:38 PM
I have MNPV8HV-DLTL 3R with "MNDISCOPSB", installed with the Sunny Boy. I'm making another solar system for MNHAWKE'S 120. I want to run the cables to the MNPV8HV and then to MNHAWKE'S, Will it be possible? "Yes!?",  but I see 15amps fuse in the box.

Thanks

Could you make a line drawing of your system and post a photo of that ?
Hard to understand what  you intend to do with the information provided.

No, I don't have a pic. Right now, Sunny boy is connected, but I buy this one long time ago for user in the future, for the other charger controller, today in this case hawke's 120.

So that one I believe can bring in four strings and output two strings, for two seperate trackers or sccs. (the fusing is 15A per string, with 30A output per string)

Basically connect up to two 15A strings to the PV1 positives and negatives, and run that back to the hawkes bay (which has a 30A max input limit).

When installing the other 5.5 kW solar system, I can't exceed 30 amps. I have to buy two 30-amp fuses, because I see 15 amps..

Thank you... for your help and support..
