Title: eco-worthy communication?
Post by: BlackwaterPark on November 10, 2025, 02:49:10 PM
Anyone know if the Rosie can speak to the ecoworthy server rack batteries? I know they are pylon, but there's some confusion from what I'm reading on whether or not they can actually communicate or not.

I have asked that to the guy at midnite that is in charge of the closed loop programming.  Might have gotten the wrong info on what he does there.  This is the response:

"These batteries have not been tested as far as I know, but their website states their communication CAN interface to the inverter contains Pylontech which is the protocol the MNGP2 interacts with."

Yea, as I'm quickly learning, there's seems to be little to no point in running closed loop anyway, so the brand doesn't really matter at all.. at least as a consideration to whether it'll talk to your gear or not.
