I have the old classic with a note in the box saying I need to update this firmware.
I have the dashboard working well already.
kind regards
Doug
I have found the firmware instructions but am not sure I should use this as I have an early model classic 150, I got it cheaper of the dealer as its an older version.?? any ideas ????
Hi Doug...
What is the serial number of your Classic ?
As for 64 bit drivers, the drivers that come from the download off the MidNite web site have the necessary
drivers for most versions of windows, including windows 7 64 bit, which is what I am using now.
Can you maybe also press the status button a few times (4 or 5) on that Classic and grab the
software date and version ? That will help tell us if you really need to update or not.
The note might just want you to check to see if there is something newer and better
for software after you received your new Classic. It might just be fine as it is.
Thanks,
boB
Hello
Thank you for your time
I pressed the status button 4 times and found a date but not a version number.
5 times goes back to the status menu.
The date is 11/9/2011 for both the classic and the MNGP.
Is the serial number inside? or is it this number on a sticker on the side?
CL61058
Also my right hand temps are running at over 60 degrees C
Is that ok?
My classic has the wizard at the front of the menu as well by the way.
Kind regards

We are not up to serial number CL61058 yet. That would be much earlier. Looks like 2011...
Might look a bit closer. It is probably somewhere more like around 1000 or so.
60C is fine.
If can update that Classics' firmware to newer code if you want. Have you tried it yet ?
