Hi All, first post.
Has anyone in the Forum sucessfully Mounted MNPowerFlo5 batteries in an EG4 Welded 6 Slot Battery Rack? 'Rack seems really well made.
But the screw holes in the rack are too narrow vertically and don't line up with the center two slots in the PF5 front Mounting Bracket with the handles. I'm wondering how others may have handled this?
If you remove the mounting handles from the mounting bracket , the 4" holes line up with those in the EG4, but I'd have to enlarge them to fit screw size of the mounting bolts, which I assume would impact the battery warranty.
The batteries are sitting on slide in supports. I wanted to get two bolts through the mounting brackets on each side, but I was able to get one on each side by lifting the front up by .3 inch (5/16"). The back is solidly on the slide supports.
I'd appreciate hearing how anyone else addressed this using the EG4 rack, or a similar rack mount.
