Rosie is shutting down, and shutting down, and shutting down.
First error is 'peak over current' which is impossible because Roise was only producing 150W at the time of shutdown.
Now, she's reporting HW Test Fail.
I've restarted Rosie, and twenty minutes later, she shuts down again with HW Test Fail.
I suspect I'm going to need to take her off the wall, and send it back for repair/replacement
This will be the THIRD Rosie inverter that has failed in my house.
That's not a good track record.

Please take the cover off and look and see if by chance the foil on the inductors is touching the front cover. Feel free to email me ryan@midnitesolar.com I will keep an eye open this weekend

Twice more last night, I got the HW TEST FAIL. Cycled power, and while standing in front of Rosie, I could hear what sounded like cracking, perhaps more of a sizzle sound coming from under the front panel. After that, the inverter has not failed again.
Now, that being said, I'm real iffy about letting this thing run when we're not a home. If Rosie takes a @*#&, then the frig will be off line, as well as 80% of my home.
This is the second Rosie I had. When I put power to it the first time, I got a lot of sizzle and arcing sounds. In talking to Ryan, I, and he agreed, there might have been a solder ball that was lodged into the circuits and though shipping Rosie (perhaps more than one solder ball?) got into a place that a solder ball shouldn't be. Thus the electrical noise—the arcing and snapping.
I'll get the serial number before monday

I pulled the front off, and didn't see any of the foil from the inductors touching anything.
When she doesn't have a knot in her panties, Rosie appears to work fine. So far, no more issues with shut downs.
"sizzling" sound on 2 different Rosies... I would be looking at wires in breakers and terminals for loose or maybe a piece of wire insulation caught in there...

One step ahead of you. Checked all the wires coming in and out of, and found nothing. However that being said, would a loose wire cause a HW TEST fail?
The arcing seemed to come from the top, middle of the inverter.
So, far, so good. No issues.
