wow!  :o Are they that much of a problem? I'm happy with the one I have, just a few issues but not major ones.

It makes sense, adding new product(s) and pruning out some dead wood / less productive products.

I recall some folks being sold the Lite and not understanding the difference which led to support calls

I have no inside info but I am assuming  they just don;t sell enough of them to offset the resources they consume?

I have to trust  they made the decision for good reason and have not pulled a boner like when Coca-Cola changed the original Coke into a Pepsi clone.

Well if it was just the display that would be one thing. But the missing RTC probably caused a bit of grief, and the missing fault beeper, less so. Local app / networking needed to be stronger in order to adequately substitute.

But I also have no regrets with the lite. Blackbox now runs totally nice and ill probably add Classic configuration into it someday, just for giggles.

Yeah, the big problem is that without the MNGP remote, it is VERY hard to know what is going on
in a system and diagnose any issues.0

The "SL" version has an MNGP so it will be kind of a replacement but not exactly.
