Title: South Park, CO - Dual purpose control cabinet
Post by: jmccallie on November 29, 2017, 06:50:34 PM
I have 9 acres of land in the mountains of Colorado where I park my RV for the summer. I just finished drilling my well up there, but I have no grid power. I had to buy the panels in a minimum quantity of 4, so I had an extra panel. I decided to use this to charge my RV. Also, there is no permanent structure up there to place all of this equipment in, so I had to build everything into NEMA 4 enclosures.

Fingers crossed, I'll get the panels installed in the next few weeks, but I thought you guys might like to see the panel I built for the charge controllers.

What are the specs on your system ? PV and battery voltages ?
Your build looks neat. I noticed it said 48v on the rail there

48V for the pump. 12V for the RV.

Panels are up! Ground was only frozen for the first foot...
