The Master Classic has two follow me lites on 350w 72 cell 3s12P (adding as I go) .
Today I hooked up string 7 so the master has 3S x4P that it controls , the Lite in Follow me has the same in series but only 3P sofar . I get this all six LED's flashing from the Lites , even # 3 that has NO panels to it yet , All wired BUT roof work starts at 5AM to 7:30 due to sun .
Whats the 6 leds flashing all at once trying to tell me ? then for a sweep sound the bulk led comes on & the flashing stops .

Firmware as of last November on all 3 .
Nigel what are the Red, God and |Green lights on the left of middle Lite as well as 2 Reds and gold to the right?

If it is a classic lite the flash of all LEDs indicates got comm, this happens now and then and is pretty normal. There was new firmware a ways back (Maybe 1.5 years ago) that made the Lite display more stable with things like that, but at the end of the day it isnt effecting the classic itself. Anyone with a rregular classic has seen the "Got Comm" pop up now and then and thats what is happening here
Thanks , I T is a wonder when I have one lite of two in follow me & the one that has panels is flashing at one time & then the lite who has no panels yet , this week if lucky also flashes , Sometimes
my firm is 2054 MNGP & 2079 Classic
when the flashing occurs , I don't see a difference in the amps being pulled from the panels , just the bulk top amber led is now gone, but the apm reading is the same on the combiner panel .

Follow up & fix !!
When FNG posted , GOT COMMS !! , that when I had a hunch & started looking .
I have one MNGP on the master of adders 10 & then 2 lites in Addy 11 & 12 .
Not always but many long blue led lights , now quick all of them
It was a pain to connect & see what #11 was up to in numbers .
SO out came the manuals from 2 years ago I setup the CC's , Panels going up now (5 2day)
I had all the software settings correct BUT i had one dip switch on both lites not set correctly for custom mode .
That is required for follow me & not master in software. NOW the blue leds flash in sync .
The 11 & 12 addys are now showing there serial # and power numbers .

No the manuals are used , But I still get the units flashing .
One , or both lites . The harvest amps seems to be the same from the panels .
I have 3 inline amp meters & one for all combined
