Title: partial local app display
Post by: mike90045 on August 13, 2018, 01:53:11 PM
After a couple shutdown and reboots, VMM, setting changes, at the very end, I see the local app, while loading the registers properly from the archived file, it's not displaying properly.  It's missing some of the text and menu fields for the MPPT style selection.   it's been a couple days now, several computer reboots and before I start futzing with a working classic with lame LA display,  I'm wondering if this is a known issue, if reboot, VMM or re-load of registers will clear it ?

I don't see on your screen shots what is not displaying properly ?
oh - do you mean the Battery Volts ?  Looks like it is not auto scaling properly .
Try uninstall Local Status app and reinstall it to see if that fixes it.

it's the first screen shot, the Tech screen
Supposed to have  solar ON  OFF
and a drop down box with 4 MPPT algorithms to chose from.  it's just a plain green field

That's expected, as an artifact of using 12V settings to minimize the thermal compensation effects, simply disabling  TC has the unfortunate effect of turning off all thermal reporting !

My Local Status App looks just like yours on that Config / Tech screen.

My Bad

The MPPT and on/off is on the top of the BASIC screen.   Somehow, I thought they were buried deeper, in the Tech screen.
