Title: Kid RS232 Data
Post by: keith@veacltd.com on August 18, 2019, 09:37:00 PM
Hello Can someone direct us to the RS232 Data? Support said they don't have it. I need to build an app for remote monitoring as well as get it on an Industrial network.  My quick search shows no sign of it.

You need to go to the main  forum page to do searches for everything ( not sure why that is)
There are a lot of links back for kid 232
here is one of them

Also this one .
Seems like the 232 data out was broken in one of the firmware updates
Then it got fixed I think - but maybe not in an official update ?
Talks about it somewhere on one of the discussions.
Midnite isn't supporting the Kid with new updates any longer but I know someone got it working .
Ricardo had his kid running  with Node Red - look in the open source software section.
This is an old one that dgd had

Node Red seems to be the way to go these days .
I think Ricardo shared the Node Red flow for the Kid on one of those links so that should help.
Let us know how you make out.
