Title: Showing voltage before being hooked to solar?
Post by: MambaJack on September 16, 2019, 11:45:51 AM
Just installed my classic 250 yesterday.
Is it normal to show a voltage even though i hadn't flipped the breaker from the panels to allow current to pass into the controller?
I think it was showing like 19.5, no amps or watts.

Thanks,
dave

Dave,
This is normal, there is a pre charge circuit that keeps a slight voltage on the pv caps. Generally it will be around 1/2 the battery voltage
