Title: Why does my Classic 250 think it is 10/23/4024?
Post by: Trukinbear on September 29, 2020, 01:27:27 PM
No matter how many times I change the time, both at the MNGP and at the Local App within a few minutes it changes back to 10/23/4024. Why? How do I fix this? Is there some significance to this date, or just a (repeatedly the same numbers) random selection?

When it rains it pours, this is the same Classic 250 that has been giving me fits otherwise...

Actually, it changes itself to that date 10/23/4024 and time 07:59 in 15 seconds after I change it, and save.

Hi Trukinbear,

Are you changing the time at the MNGP or on the local app?

I've changed it both ways - from the MNGP,  and with the local app. I'm in town now so if somebody can give me the number of the battery I'd appreciate it.

Updating the firmware, and replacing the battery seem to have solved my problem. Thanks again

Remember also that if the MNGP is not disabled for setting the Classic's time (in the tweaks you can turn it off) then when you set the Classic time and date with the Local App, the MNGP will change it right back after a minute or so.

Can't remember the tweak name but it's up there one or two menus from tweaks root menu.
