Title: classic woke up into float mode
Post by: jtdiesel65 on April 14, 2021, 10:35:33 AM
For some reason my followme classics woke from resting state into float mode. All I can think is that it was due to battery voltage being equal (53.1) from when they went into rest and came out of rest so they just continued the mode they were it. This is with a LFP battery. SOC dropped by ~10% during rest. Both have the wbj.

any ideas ?

I set rebulk to 53.5 for now. I'll have to see what happens late day. Maybe it should be a bit lower. IIRC there was a setting to cause the classic to do nightly reboots. Anybody know where that is?

thx

I found the rst tweak. Had to move rebulk to 3.2. It seems to cycle at the higher setting.,

Auto RST   Glad you found that one in tweaks...

If all the classics are at 0 days skip, then the system should come up into Bulk-Absorb.

How much Absorb TIME is set in these Classics ?    For Lithium, I would guess that is is a pretty short time ?

Maybe they are set for very low time and you missed seeing one of them going from Absorb to Float ?

Absorb is 10 minutes. Absorb was set for 56.4

Looks like from the mymidnite data, it didn't do a bulk/absorb.

From the mymidnite data I see at wake up:

float_time charge_state
13016   0
13016   0
13016   0
13016   0
13016   4
13017   4
13017   1537
13017   1539
13017   1539
13017   1539
13017   1539
13017   1539
13017   1539
13017   1539

I don't know how to interpret the charge_state values, but I think time should have reset to 0 for bulk.
