Title: MM Security
Post by: mobywile on January 31, 2024, 04:16:32 PM
When I go to log on to MyMidnite I am getting a privacy error.  "your connection is not private"  I have been using this same way to access my info for decades.  WTF?

Can I just ignore it?

Yes.  Continue.

That must be due to MM not being https ?

Should be https://  ideally.   Will ask about this.

So, someone could read your Classic data IF they REALLY wanted to I suppose.

Low priority I would say but will still ask about that.

Thanks boB.  I think it probably is low priority as well, but I wonder why it has just begun.  I don't think I have changed any settings anywhere else in my system.  Thanks for checking into it for me.

So now I don't know.

Thanks boB.  I'll look around some more but I am not really savvy for this stuff.  I'll post if I find anything useful.

I just saw this this morning.  According to my browsers (Chrome and Edge) the certificate for the site is no longer valid.  I checked the dates on the cert, and they are still fine.  I am not a cert guy, but it could be something to do with your certificate authority.  Might have someone give them a call.

Working here without incident using    https://mymidnite2.com/    for 2 days now.

Is it fixed ?

Still getting the error message.
Edit -
Not a big deal to me as I am not putting in any personal information.  Just a very minor annoyance having to click a couple of extra times.

No big issue - just and FYI

Thanks everyone.  I, too, have gone on this morning and all the error messages are gone.  Just clean and easy.
Love the Forum.  I may not know much, but I know I can get help here.
