Title: Disconnecting Combiners on Ungrounded Systems
Post by: Aladdin on July 22, 2012, 09:46:04 PM
Can the MNPVnnHV disconnecting combiners be configured to work with ungrounded systems? Would need to be able to open both the positive and negative lines. From the photos, it looks like the disconnect might only open one side not both.

Yes, they sure can.

Since the 600V switch consists of a few in series, they can be broken
up for each of the 2 conductors to go to its own switch.

Hi Bob
Thank you so much for your support.
Well, please let me make a question.
We have 2 strings pv system, 2,5Kw each one..
I need a disconnect combiner configuration capable to have 2 pairs of dc ungrounded conductor at its putput, to connect to a 2 mppt tracker input on my inverter. SR 5,2Kw TL.
I saw MVPV8HV, but it have only one pair of dc cables at its ouput, 1 mppt string input of the inverter..
Then how we can wire up others disconnect combiners to get 2 pairs of ungrounded dc output cables ??
Thank you in advance
