Installed the 150 today and powered up. No solar yet but monitoring batteries via humdinger.

My first attempt at a boondocker was 2 GC2's, 180 watts of 34 volt 5 amp portable solar via Morningstar SSMPPT15L on a 25 foot travel trailer. Had great fun with WestyD's modbus C programs and my Raspberry Pi. I was hooked. Learned about the Midnite boy's and decided to go big time. Kid didn't exist at the time and would not provide 44 amps bulk to a 440ah GC2 bank anyway.  Besides, the Midnite crew had all this out of the park stuff, these guys were maniac's. I was making good money at the time so what the heck I spent way more money on my other hobby Harley Davidson motorcycles. This hobby provided more ROI than just emotional. Upgraded my 150 lite with an MNGP I will eventually remote mount inside the rig with an ME-ARC for the coming Magnum Hybrid 3012M inverter. I plan on boondocking with a single Champion 2000i Inverter generator and an honest 500watts of solar watching IMSA Tudor live. Solar can expand with the classic 150 as I learn more and tune usage. For now I can put a gallon of gas in the champion every few days to ensure my batteries stay happy.
