2 battery banks & 2 BTM's

 Has anyone switched BTM's so the Classic sees the temp of the bank it is charging?  Will this confuse the Classic?  I now have 2 banks of L-16's and I have 2 BTM's. I do not plan to parallel the banks as they are not matched. I only want a backup set.
