Classic Longevity and lifespan

I am curious - what would be more of the deciding factor on how long the Classic will last - I mean what is hardest on the electronics in it ? 

Would running large loads so it is diverting more power be harder on a Classic  - or is it more a factor of how hot the internal components get ?  I was just thinking of this because being winter the Classic outside is cold. I thought of  maybe using one of the Aux relays to turn on an electric space heater when the batteries are full . It would save some wood in the stove or perhaps in future could use it to heat water.

From what I have read it would be constantly pushing the max limits,   Amps and Volts,  of any CC that would possibly shorten its life... particularly Amps as that is the greatest source of on-board heat iirc...
