I thought that I had posted this question and someone said to use phone cable.

My temp sensor wire from the Classic 150 is about 5 feet too short.   so I bought a standard phone cable and female to female connector.  The problem is the blue sensor wire has 6 conductor plugs and cable.  The phone cable is 4 conductor.

What can I use to extend the temp sensor about 5 feet?

Thanks

Greg

You can get the 6 pin cables at Monoprice.com if I remember correctly they make a straight thru and one that reverses two of the pins. You want the straight thru cable. Maybe boB or Ryan can confirm that it's been a while since i extended mine. You will need the adapter to join them together also.

The folks at Midnite said regular 4 conductor wire is fine.   That's what I used and the temp sensor is working fine.
