Follow Me Sharing of the Wiz Bang Jr and Shunt?

Basically I want to know if classics in follow me mode allow sharing of the Wiz Bang Jr and Shunt just like sharing the battery temperature sensor on the master classic.

I'm asking this as with a Wiz Bang Jr and shunt on a single classic it knows when to go into float going by the amps going through the shunt into the battery. So what happens if the classic with the Wiz Bang Jr has it's PV input disconnected so it is constantly in resting mode and can't tell the other classics without the Wiz Bang Jr shunt to go into float. This is my current situation as I'm doing some testing.

Sure I could just enter the ending amps manually on the other classics without the Wiz Bang Jr and Shunt but when loads are applied to the inverter the exact amps making it to the battery cannot be known by other classics without the Wiz Bang Jr and shunt.

So basically is it possible to allow the other classics access to the Wiz Bang Jr data in follow me mode, if so how?

I do believe you will need to connect that WBjr to another Classic and designate it as the "Leader".

If this will be a common occurrence I would figure out an easy way to select another Classic and   connect it to the WBjr wire...  a multi connector or switch?

How many other Classics do you have?

Actually have two now a standard 150 and newly acquired 150-SL.

that should be easy to set up with a small selector switch or use 2 positions at one end of this...

where the 2 Classics are permanently wired and you move the WBjr wire to the 'leader' as necessary...

I assume the 2 classics are in close proximity?

As for the Follow Me LED flashes my master classic with the BTS it's LED flash stays on for like 1/3 of a second but my other classic without the BTS is always a quick flash. Does that sound correct?

Halfcrazy

No the long flash is bad, usually indicates a bad cable.

as for the End Amps I will have to check but it should still trigger a float command even though it is resting.

I have two classics networked the left one with the BTS master is a long blink one and the right one is the quick blink. The left one is the start of the network and the right one is the last on the network.

So going by what I described what cable would you say is bad the complete network return cable or the other one?

I did test both the cables on a phone before installing in the classic and both were fine.

Westbranch

Possibly a loose connection then.

I had an ethernet  'failure' after 5 months when I decided to change out a switch for a newer one... Whaaaaat?  ...  Visually checked cable.... still "in" the socket but no communication, touched the cable where it exits the Classic and it fell out, ... it obviously was not clicked into place, reset it and made sure it snapped into place ....works fine now..

OK I managed to get them doing fast blinks by reseating the rj12 plug and the cables moving them ever so slightly till they just worked and then stuck the cover back on. Dreading the next time I have to take the cover off as they might stop working again. I tested the cables and both seemed fine. So I'm wondering if there was some kind of electrical interference.

OK next issue I don't know if this is a follow me issue or not but if I turn the solar array to one of the Classics it registers fine the power flows but if I then turn the other classic's solar array it registers the incoming voltage but stays in the resting state.

UPDATE: It just started working maybe when the master classic went out of absorb and into float as it took a few minutes.
