Another black screen on MNGP after update

Matt, thanks for giving a nice clear, non jargon filled answer, not that I &/or some of the others fully understand the intricacies of what is happening... us guys at the back of the bus need a little clarity at times...

This thread is a perfect example of why I chose Midnight.  I had the same blank screen issue this weekend after installing a Whizbang Jr.  and had to update to use it.  Classic 150 updated fine and then the MNGP blank screened.  I tried updating/resetting in every possible combination I could think of. 

Hats off to Matt and the others at midnight for a great product but morso for awesome support.  I will try the solutions mentioned and it should work.  Thanks all.

I agree also.
But for the cost of all the RE stuff , I use a dedicated  computer & hard drive. W7 and an older XP that started this with a Serial DB9 &  mobus system ..This box only has all solar info files /firmware. I also grab my set points & registers , name/date them as they are changing as I become more aware.

With help from Larry of Starlight Solar in Yuma, and Tech Jim from MidNite. We have had our Classic 150 updated, and the Whiz Bang Jr added. Yep, black screen on MNGP update. And two day turn around on a fresh one with matching configuration for our Classic 150.
