Equalization programming can't go thru

I can't do the equalization automatic programming.
When I go into menu > charge > equalization, the display shows, equalization started, press up button to stop it, and never shows me, as the manual says, automatic, number of days to retry, etc.
What's wrong ?
On my main screen, status, it is showing that right now at the middle of the day, 1 pm. At full sun power, is on bulk, and not showing "equalization" as the equalization display says that it has started.

What is the Firmware version number that you are running on your Classics?  Auto EQ  had a bug in earlier versions of the FW,  believe that the latest FW has this bug fixed.

First,  you generally should NOT EQ a battery until the Absorb stage has been completed,  or at least,  nearly completed.

And,  generally,  one should really try to watch the EQ to monitor the progress,  check SGs with your Hydrometer, monitor battery temperature,   and so on.

If you can avoid Auto EQ,  IMO,  you and your batteries will probably be happier.

Also,  pressing the Up arrow when in the EQ Menu should Start an EQ,  and the Down arrow should stop it.   At times,  multiple presses of either of these buttons might be required to get the desired result.
