My Classic 150/MNGP has been getting more got comm? messages since the last software update to latest for both 150 and MNGP.  Had this set up for a few years with no problems.  Now I get the message intermittently and more frequently.  Goes in sputs sometimes.  Lately it has been happening everyday.  Last month it happened a few times a day for a few days.  Only way I can find to resolve is to power off the 150 wait 10 seconds or so and power back on.  My MNGP is located about 20 feet from 150 (been this way from the beginning and like i said, no issues until after update).  Anyone have any ideas on fixes?  I'm worried about what the 150 charge controller is doing while in got comm? mode and I'm not there to reset.

Thanks

Maybe it's time to check the cable. Sometimes the retainer clip goes bad, and the cable works itself loose a bit ?

Which rev did you change to ?  The most recent ones have pretty much fixed any Got Comm ?  problems.

This year's I thought ?

Or, maybe there IS a bad cable ?  Also, try plugging the MNGP into the middle jack rather
than the top Remote jack in the Classic just in case it might be a bad jack but that would
be extremely rare.

The bottom 2 LEDs on the MNGP will not do anything when plugged into that jack but
just for testing.  Also try wiggling the cable and see if that matches up with the message.

Versions are 2054 and 2096.  Updated both in June 2016.  Wiggled the cable on MNGP, no issues.  It is pretty solid.  Will get to the Classic later today to try other tests you have suggested.

May just be a coincidence, but noticed the last few days that it occurs just around the time the charging transitions from absorb to float.  I'll watch it closer today if I can.
