How to Equalize

I'm confused about how to do an equalize charge.  Do I wait until the absorption charge is over then initiate the equalize charge or can I initiate an equalize charge while the absorption charge is underway?

To EQ, your battery must be fully charged before initiating an EQ

OK thanks.  So if I initiate an EQ after a full charge and it doesn't complete before I loose the sun for the day, should I just try again the next day until I can get it finished?

the simplest way is to BULK with a genset/mains power and let the PV finish the Absorb charge to Float then do the EQ.  You may have to go back to the genset to finish if not enough sun.
