I just happened to be standing in front of both kids, and watching (with delight) as both kids were doing their thing! Then all of sudden one kid stopped harvesting. I waited for many minutes to no avail,it just quit while the other was working fine. I checked the PV input voltage with my meter and verified 112 volts exiting the breaker. I checked the 30 amp input fuse=Ok, Shut it down, both the PV Input and Battery breakers, then restarted battery breaker, got all the christmas lihgts upon reboot of the kid, then applied PV breaker, again NO Harvest..Display shows resting.I even went to the menu and reset to factory settings, still no power. after approx 3 hours I happened to walk by, and low and behold I hear a click and saw amps being harvested by this bad boy!  What the heck is going on? Never done that before.

How full were the batteries when it stopped charging ?
It could be that the other controller was all the batteries needed to finish charging ?
Check all your connections on breakers and any terminals.

The OTHER kid was in a BULK CHARGE MODE with battery bank voltage showing at 13.7 volts the batteries had not yet gone into the Absorb stage and then of course the final stage of float which I have set at 13.7

There is one other peculiar thing I noticed yesterday when observing the kids. The one that was acting out, I noticed the LCD display showed .1 to .3 amps very briefly and then quickly back to resting. It did this over and over again during the 3 hour duration when it was acting up.

The other kid only has 6 - 100 watt panels feeding it and it's difficult to get that battery bank into float with just that kid.

Also, the very top green light on the left portion of the LCD display is now not illuminated. It does illuminate when you activate the christmas tree function, or reboot the controller, but now does not illuminate when working.

I'll see today if that changed and if I get two green indicators once it goes to float. It's a perfect open full sun sky today and if both kids are operating I should be into float by Noon

Shortly in the next week or so, I will be re configuring my battery bank to 24V as I purchased a new 24 Volt
Inverter.
