First post.. Quick question

My system was just installed a week ago. The installer had to go out of town this week so I can not get a hold of him till Monday. I have 2 2Kw Arrays and I have 2 Classic 200 controllers. Prior to this issue I was seeing on the classic readouts approximately 2-5 KwH on the screen each day when it was sunny and my system monitor (Outback FCDC) was showing combined KwH of ~ 6-10KwH. The just 2 days ago I noticed that the total KwH for the day was about half of what I had been seeing, and also noticed that the controller for the one array was reading 0 KwH while the other was reading 3.2 KwH. The Charge staus was different also. The controller with the 3.2KwH was in Float and the other was in absorb. Both controllers were showing a voltage in (top line of read out). BAtteries are fully charged but I am curious what could be happening. Also, I noticed that the time and date on the controller that is not quite right is wrong and flashes invalid when I look at the log.
Ideas?

Hi Rngr ..

At this moment,   it takes a bit of juggling to get each Classic in a multi Classic system to share charging perfectly.  One can get fairly close.  Soon there should be a Networking solution that will make this sharing better.

Starting at Post #9  in the following Thread shares some light on exactly how to do the Firmware update in the Classics:

It might be a good idea to reinstall the latest firmware in each classic,  from scratch.  It is possible that just rebooting each Classic,  as described,  will help,  without the FW update.

On the MN site,   there is the Firmware Installation Doc.   This now appears to be a Word doc,  so I cannot seem to be able to post a link.  If you need it just scroll down the MN home page to the Classic area,  about 2/3 of the way down the page and select what you need.

You may well know all of this,  and have all the documentation you need.   Just FYI.   Good Luck,   Vic
