AIO with external ATS?

Is it possible to connect The One to an external automatic transfer switch?  This would require The One being able to detect when it is on grid vs on generator power, presumably via another input signal.  I've been evaluating another inverter which does this, and realized that it would significantly simplify my wiring and bypass switch (one fewer lines to the inverter location, and fewer lines to bypass).
