I am trying to match my battery voltage from my Magnum Display, Classic and my DMM (digital multi meter)............The Magnum Matches my DMM but the Classic is a good volt higher..........I went into "tweaks" and adjusted the "batt offset' down, but did not see that the display voltage move at all, even when I hit enter to save ............My classic has all the firmware updates and I reset it to factory settings after update was complete.

Hi WindFarmer !

You will need an external volt meter to read that voltage I think.

This is one of those weird situations where if the Classic is in a voltage
regulation mode like, Absorb or Float or EQ.

By adjusting the offset, you ARE actually adjusting the Voltage that the Classic
thinks that it is seeing BUT it is regulating to that voltage so it will keep showing
the same voltage.

If the Classic's mode is off OR the Classic was  a good amount below its charge
set point voltage (Vabsorb, Vfloat etc) and in MPPT, then the reading on the
Classics' volt meter will show it.

This is why it is advisable to use an external volt meter OR the volt meter
on your other product connected to the system.

I am assuming that the Classic is in Absorb, Float or EQ in your situation.

Great question that had me stumped at one time, too.
