I logged in to My Midnite but I don't see any data from my Classic.  When I go to the management tab I see my Classic listed under unassigned.  Do I have to do something else to see my data?  All that I see under the overview tab is daily, weekly, monthly, yearly tabs but I get nothing when I click on them.

Hi, Wxboy,
You have to create a system and then drag the device into the system. Please refer to the on-screen help fo further instructions.

Thanks,
-A

Andy;

I created a system but it doesn't show up?

I will try again.

Thanks A.  I did what you said and I had things working for a minute but it didn't seem to have all of today's data so I hit refresh and then I lost my system.  Then I tried to add the system back but it said it's already registered.  Oh well it was full while it lasted.  This is probably operator error but I guess I am done for now.

perhaps I am missing something, I created an acct and logged in and all I have is a blank grey rectangle with my avatar pic and a view and edit tab, I see no "create system" or online help.

Do you see your Classic on this screen ?

If I remember, you have to hit a "+" button on the right of your screen, to create a system.
To verify, put your mouse over the icons to know what each is doing.

After giving a name to your system, this creates a rectangle below your Classic picture.

Then, you have to take the picture of your Classic and drive it into your new system rectangle.

One of my Classics s shows up albeit with a sparse graph, odd considering it is a real busy PV controller often 2kW+ into a 24volt battery
and 6Kwhr/day. ANother Classic I entered details for is in the UNASSIGNED area  but it will not move to my named area.  Instead of the nice Classic graphic in its window it has a larger yellow diamond shape with a smaller Classic graphic in it. I assume this is the problem, the ID and Mac address verified ok but is the Classic not talking to My Midnite?
The first has the THERE IS AND ERROR and UNNAMED although it does have a name, the second also has UNNAMED.

That's exactly what happened to mine to ( Device ID: B427 C482 ) . Glad I am not the only one who's classic has disappeared.

I see this has been fixed now :)
Overall this is looking pretty good, I can see it will be  a very useful tool. Design is excellent keeping in the Midnite theme with colors and graphics. Once I figured out the graph report with it's slide over vertical bar that can be positioned to give additional detail then it becomes easy to see how a Classic is performing over the period data is reported.
Well done MN - Andrew etc..

ok, spoke too soon in previous message. Was working well yesterday, now today I can get the white edged box that slides over the dates to work but when it is on a day with data that data does not appear in the larger window display. No data, no vertical positioning line and no detail window. Waited ages and never appeared.
Also noted 'no authorised to access this page' on logout,  If you don;t log out then next login you get this message too.
One of my Classics 8CF96252 has vanished and I cannot re-enter it as it says already registered.

Uh Oh,
Sorry for the mysterious vanishing Classics. I'm taking a look under the hood at the moment and should have normal service restored at some point.

Thank you all for your patience and help with getting this out there.

I'm also looking into the Internet Exploder issues. I did most of my testing using Chromium and Firefox as even Microsoft has (quietly) suggested that Exploder has too many security holes and should not be used. I realize though that 80% of users still use it though.

Do I have to reboot the classic as power down or can I just use local app remotely..to get My Midnite collecting data ?

Frank;

If you already have networking set up, simply enable Web Access in the "net" menu on the MNGP. I think that is where it is? My system is stripped for upgrades so I cannot check so this is from memory. Not sure but I do not think you can set this from the Local App?

I did not require a reboot but I had already upgraded the firmware. Upgrading the firmware will require a reboot.

Hope that helps.
