I know  the Classic Lite will work without an MNLP.  If the Lite is reset to factory default settings and there is no MNLP attached, will it start up with a default IP address? or is it just set to zeroes? Also will it detect the correct battery voltage?
(While awaiting another Lite150 to arrive....)

If there WAS an MNLP connecte previously, I think the MNLP has the Classic write those values to EEprom.

If so, and I think it does, OR with the Local App or an MNGP that wrote to it before, the Classic should
remember all that stuff.  Static/DHCP, etc too.

I believe what boB tried to say was the "VMM" or factory restore does not over write the IP settings (unless of course you have the MNLP installed and NOT set to custom

I didn't know about the eeprom storing this info. Good to know the MNLP is not needed after initial setup.  :)
