I was looking at my settings via the local app for my computer and under the Config and Tech Tab I have a check in the box that says keep logging at Night. Should that be checked or unchecked?

I would uncheck it as there is not much to record while the Classic is Resting. And I think boB noted once that the Classic will use a little more watts if this is checked. Just my opinion.

Thanks!!!! It was using a little energy during the nights and I was trying to figure out why. So tonight I'm going to uncheck it so I don't know if it will take place tonight or tomorrow night :) thanks, Mike

I don't think you will notice any extra draw since all that does is make the Classic write to EEprom once every
5 minutes or so.

The reason it does log at night normally is so that you can track your battery voltage drop during that time.

Isn't the Live Data sampling data every 2 seconds ?? At least that is what the LA is showing with it's time stamps. Maybe it does that whether Nite Logging is on or off.  :-[

Yes Live data logs to the PC every 2 seconds, The nite logging is asking about the recent logs in the Classic. It stores a data point every 5 minutes. boB made it so you can not store them when it is resting but like he said it is helpful to see the low battery voltage in the evening
