Hi

I am just in the basement and want to change the classics, hope someone can help me quick

the classic lite will be replaced by a classic 200 (non-lite) and the 'lite' will have another function (4th string from roof, charging other batteries)

Now it is clear now, I can export and import registers = all datas.
I opened te datafile with notpad++ and found individual datas from the 'lite' like the mac number.
If I now import these datas to the non-classic, will this work without problems?
Will it accept these datas?

And, I am searching for this "new day" function, so it will store the datas from the day
see this post: http://kb1uas.com/mnsforum/index.php?topic=2663.msg27848#msg27848

Next thing, how can I clean the memory of the 'lite', as it will have to start by zero?
When I was reseting the 'lite' after firmware update, all datas were still there. Good in this case, buut now I would like to reset it to have no datas stored.

Chargers:  Classic Lite 200 + Classic 200
Inverter: Easun ISolar-SMX-II-5.6KW
PV modules: 12 x 240 Wp + 12 x 255 Wp = 5.940 Wp
Batteries: 2 x 10 kWh + 5 kWh LFP = 25 kWh

looking closer into that export-file, there are only the settings inside
need the datas back in the non-lite now, from the lite classic, with all generated power ect.
there is only the export function (Data/Offline/Export)
Why is it not possible to import datas back???

Hi,
The export functions work for exporting and importing settings only. Data lives in a separate database on the PC only. This data normally lives on the PC in this database and not on the Classic itself. If you wish to save your generation data you can export it to a csv file first and access the data using a spreadsheet program.

No the datas are stored in the classic.
How will a PC know what the classic "did" ... then the PC had to be connected to the classic any time.
I can access with the LocalApp or the android app, and receive the datas drom the classic.

I don't want to download them for viewing with any program ... I can view it with Graham's great App.
But I will not see them any more when I change the classic. Also I don't know how to erase all datas in the 'lite' after this.
Must do this tonight (now in germany is night)

You can't do New Day function on a Lite.

Why don't you just move the new Classic's MNGP to the old Lite Classic. Save you a lot of work.

To clear Classic data from the EPROM you again need the MNGP panel and it is in the Data Logging menus to do various resets.

I think you need to be more specific about what kind of "datas" you are talking about. If you are talking about the long-term daily values, then yes it is stored in the Classic and there is no way to transfer this. You can use the local app however to export this data as well. Just go to the Data->Offline tab on the Local App and you can export the daily totals once they all download. You cannot re-import them into a new Classic, however.

okay thats not so good, if this is not possible.
Will have to live with it...
