How many cells does a 48V stack of Aquions have?

T-Comp is supposed to be -1.25 mV/cell/'C.

Since -1.25mV isn't a Classic option it is either 8x or 32x or they pulled that # out of .....

Thanks

Well a stack of Aquions is 8 cases each case having 4 cells so 32 cells total so 32 cells at 1.25mv and a normal 48v cell has 24 so you would likely want to set the classic close to 1.5 or 2mv

I used the calculator on this thing and got something a lot different than 1.5 or 2mv.

-1.25 mV/cell/'C x 32 cells seems to come out to -40mV or do I have something quite wrong?

-40 is the total mV per degree C, The Classic will be adjusting based on 24 cells in a mV per degree C per Cell  so you need to divide the 40 by 24 cells to get a number to enter into the classic

Thanks Ryan,

I was wondering why you brought up the lead acid stuff, now it makes more sense.

Thanks again
